Enderby Island in the Auckland Islands subantarctic group is New Zealand's finest accessible wandering albatross (Diomedea exulans) courtship site — 25 breeding pairs on the island's grassland slopes, their courtship and nest attendance fully visible from the permitted landing area between October and February.
