About this spectacle

Sai Yok Noi is a tiered waterfall in Kanchanaburi Province, tumbling directly into the Khwae Noi River. Visitors can watch the cascades from an accessible viewpoint or wade into the shallows at the base. The surrounding forest creates a green canopy, and the mist from the falls keeps the area cool even in warm months. Small freshwater fish gather near the base, and brightly coloured birds occasionally dart through the spray. The waterfall is modest in scale but immediately accessible from the nearby train station, making it a popular day-trip destination. The sound of rushing water against the jungle backdrop and the sight of the river flowing alongside the falls create a serene, layered natural scene.
