The Cappadocia hot air balloon flights over the Göreme Valley — 100–150 balloons launching before dawn and ascending over the 'fairy chimneys' (tuff pinnacles eroded by volcanic ash differential hardening) and the valley's cave-church landscape in the first light — is one of the world's most accessible mass balloon spectacles.
